Guest guest
But it went down while I was on 25mcg of Cytomel, so I don't think I would be converting that much T3 then because I'm taking T3 2x a day? T4 went up when I was taking much less T3? THis is still confusing to me. > > FT4 went down as oyu were able to use it inconverting to T3, when your > Ferritin is low you are converting all of it ot RT3 and it will have > less conversion. > > -- > Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV > > http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ > http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ >
Guest guest
So I understand about taking the 25mcg of T3 and the T4 that I take does the converting. I'm confused as to why my FT4 was below range on 2 grains of Erfa and 25mcg of Cytomel, but it was low normal and up on 1 grain only that I took 2 days before my last labs. Why would the T4 be down on 2grains after 8 weeks, and then up on just 1 grain before the test? I was on 2.5 grains 7 days before the test but I dropped off when i got the heart flutterings. I know the T4 builds over time, so is it that when I started the 2 grains Erfa 8 weeks was too short a time to show a normal T4 range? And that when I continued on 2 grains for several more weeks and then upped 1/2 grain 7 days before test that it built up higher. And even though I dropped 1.5 grains 2 days before the test, it wouldn't matter because T4 builds and stays in the system? > > How much T3 you take does not interfere with converting any T3 ot T3. > What it does cahnge is loweirng RT3 which DOES affect converison. > > -- > Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV > > http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ > http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ >
