Guest guest
With your ferritin at 22 that is the FIRST thing you need ot fix. I woulk dstart 200mg daily of elemental iron or look into an iron IV. I would lower the NT til you cn get ferritin at least to 50 then I woudl stop NT and start straight T3. Your low ferritin is causing most of how you are feelign and it is creating the RT3 issue which wil effectively block the T3 from reaching the cells and thus bulding high in your blood. -- http://nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/
Guest guest
One other thing, I know your T3 is pooling and not elevated from the Graves as your T4 is not high. IN Graves it would be elevated too. -- http://nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/
Guest guest
Val: Ferritin has been low..don't know if you remember, but you and I conferenced (on your B-D!!!) and I was the one with the possible polycythemia..I agree on the RT3 causing me to feel bad, just not sure whether it's the ferritin or something else. I'm a Lyme pt and doc also, on this round of labs (since I'd had a cough)suggested mycoplasma p. for which I was positive. I'm going to try what you say..what is best iron supp?
