Guest guest
just curious, according to the experience of most, you say it typically takes roughly 12 weeks on T3 only to really clear Rt3 from receptors... does this apply to people running into low ferritin issues, or does the low ferritin thing kind of lengthen the process for those people? also, since i must maintain a lowered dose of t3 while i raise my ferritin, should i just expect to start feeling pretty hypo again while i am holding to those doses? how do people typically know when to start raising again without new iron labs... just trial and error? > > I think you need ot lower it back where you were tolerating it well . > Hold for a couple weekas while piling in the iron. > > -- > Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV > > http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ > http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ >

Guest guest
I cleared at around 11.5-12 weeks on a low dose (50-60 mcg.) because of low ferritin and weak adrenals. I started to feel better, clearer and happier, but I was still hypo. It took me another month to reach 75 mcg, by which time I no longer had low ferritin symptoms and had stable temps. I increased to 125 mcg over the next couple of weeks without any problems. So, no, the RT3 clearing didn't take longer on a lower dose of T3, but hypo symptoms continued on afterward.
