Guest guest
Are you treating your low cortisol? Cortisol has alot to do with BP. Sky To: RT3_T3 Sent: Wed, 31 March, 2010 9:04:49 AMSubject: High T3 in blood Its been a very long time since I have been on here but I do have some questions. The past few months I've been on T3 because of RT3. I take BP meds that mess with RT3 so am taking only T3. However my readings have been around 4.9 for a long time. Have had trouble with low cortisol again so I know the T3 will pool in my blood. My question is if it stays this high too long can it do damage to my blood? My doc and I both woulde like to know this answer if there is one. I am being referred to an oncologist because of constant low RBC and all of a sudden my lymphs are high. Could this have been caused you think by the high T3? Anyone else have this problem?
Guest guest
Yes I do take cortisol, 30mg right now. I watch my laying and standing BP to keep track of the low cortisol. However I have learned by how I feel also when it is down. My worry now could the T3 in my blood cause a problem for me. My doc is cutting it down and I am not sure if she should. > > Are you treating your low cortisol? Guest guest
Well I think Val keeps her level of t3 over 6 and it is not harming her. Dr Lowe has been taking 150mcg of t3 a day for 20 years. And the aim is to have high t3 in range or a bit over. I think the problem comes when we have high reverse t3 or high t4. What is your ferritin and b12 and the moment. Guest guest
My ferritin is 228 (11-200). Not sure about B12 but take alot of it. My iron tests were very good. I was taking 75mcg of t3 a day, now only 50mcg as doc suggested. My eyes do not hurt so much as they did so that is good. I go to an oncologist on the 6th to be checked for leukemia. Havent had B12 for awhile, but was ok and I take lots of it. My ferritan was 94 last july. Thats a big jump isn't it. > > > > Are you treating your low cortisol? Guest guest
Wow ferritin of 228 is way to high! I would talk to the oncologist about donating blood or something like that. Guest guest
Yes that is a big jump. You might need to donate some blood. Just make sure the high reading is not due to inflammation. Also make sure your oncologist checks your kidney function. Sky To: RT3_T3 Sent: Wed, 31 March, 2010 11:05:21 AMSubject: Re: High T3 in blood My ferritin is 228 (11-200). Never heard of high T3 levels damaging the blood itself. T3 only seems a pretty safe regime as long as you don't stop suddenly as any overdose wears off quickly.
