Hi ,

My hubby had RLS. I have him on B6, Pantothenic acid and 800mgm of folic

acid. He also says he gets it back when he does a lot of standing around (I

think he means when he goes shopping with me haha).

You should also be tested for iron.not red blood cells (RBC) but Ferritin

level. Doctors do not routinely test for this and can tell you they tested

for it when they tested RBC's. Even if you are not really low but not above

the middleon the scale try taking iron supplements. All these things I have

read about and did not just make them up.

As for sleep aids...I take them so I have no help. I wish I could fall

asleep naturally like everyone else but I never have been able to even when

I was young. I do know Ambien makes me lose my balance.

If you find anything to help you fall asleep let all of us know.

Glad you are doing well..keep it up. Have you written your story for the

histories page??

Hugs,

Cooky

Hello to all,

I know it has been a while. Still progressing pretty well with the DM.

I have a MAJOR concern. I had an accident at home a few weeks ago that led

to severe head trauma and me in ICU for a few days. I think I woke up in the

middle of the night and the REQUIP I use for RLS made me dizzy and I passed

out and landed on my head. Does anyone take anything else for RLS? I need to

get away from Requip and I NEED to learn how to sleep without Ativan or

Ambien as SLEEP AIDES!!!

Help...I need off of these toxic meds can anyone advise??

Hi Josie,

I have been taking melatonin for sleep, but just discover " good days " vitamins

for sleep. there is a day formula for depression and a nite formula for sleep

and relaxation

http://www.americarx.com/Products/34046.html

for restless leg, all my symptoms went away when I added methronidazole twice a

day to my minocin, MWF. I think rls is also infectious
