Guest guest
Did oyu mean hypOglycemia? Yes absolutely! Cortisol is what stablizes glucose between meals. If ther eis not enpough cortisl your sugar cna drop too low,. But I disagree with " low glycemic " foods. It should be LOW CARB foods. I do nto find low glycemic foods very helpful at all and ther eis no mention of FATS which slow digestion and thus lower the glycemic load of everything you eat. Fats are VERY important. -- http://nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/
Guest guest
I'm also wondering about the connection with HFCS (high fructose corn syrup). I had hypoglycemic problems for years. I started noticing a connection with the HFCS I consumed. I avoid HFCS completely now and I don't have any hypoglycemic problems. However, if I mistakenly consume HFCS, I know it immediately. I hate it when ingredients are changed! ________________________________ > > Did oyu mean hypOglycemia? Yes absolutely! Cortisol is what stablizes > > glucose between meals. Guest guest
HFCS is going to be the death of us all! It is higher glycemic load than pure sugar, and what REALLY irritates me is it is being out in foods labeled " sugar free " Yeah right. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
Guest guest
I have also read that fructose induces insulin resistance (it is given to laboratory rats to make then insulin resistent) , so for those with type II diabetes may be even worse that glucose. > > HFCS is going to be the death of us all! Guest guest
I can absolutely confirm it si worse than sugar for Diabetics. It jacks my insulin needs so badly I have troubel takign enough insulinto cover it when I inadvertently eat somethign wiht ti in it, and it si in EVERYTHING! I bought hot dogs a coupel weeks ago and did nto chekc the package until I ate one. Sure enough, HFCS was in there. I threw out 3 packages of lunch meats I had bought for snacks as thye ALL had it in them. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/

Guest guest
Well, I don't trust foods that say sugar free. I'm completely against artificial sweeteners, but what drives me crazy is the label with say all natural and have HFCS. Since when is HFCS natural? > > > HFCS is going to be the death of us all!
