Guest guest
Yikes those Saliva results are very low. Can you post your ACTH Stim results? Have you got Sodium, Potassium, Calcium & magnesium results? Ever tested Aldosterone & renin? Guest guest
Adrenal Stress Profile Sample 1 2.6 (12-22) Sample 2 1.5 (5.0-9.0) Sample 3 2.1 (3.0-7.0) Sample 4 0.5 (1.0-3.0) Total daily cortisol 6.7 (21-41) DHEA am 0.31 in range pm 0.16 Low A) You need HC. Period. NO amount of adaptogens or glandulars is going to help you. From your thyroid labs you were not hyperthyroid you had an adrenal crash. T4 takes weeks to go down in your system so stopping 24 hours before this test would not have dropped it that much. I woudl say you were nto utilizing the natural thyroid well for a long time and making RT3 and eventually it crashed your adernals as they were probably too low to handle it to begin with. Guest guest
Hi Lethal Lee, Thanks for your reply I am going to post on the adrenal forum as has suggested. I'll put the other results for any tests I have on there. Judy > > > > > > Hi, > > > > I changed to Natural thyroid a year ago after taking Levothyroxine for 15 years and I was doing well. Guest guest
I do wonder how bad a Saliva test has to be before it shows on a Synacthen test. Synacthen Stimulation Test Time Cortisol 0 326 30 806 60 934 An adequate response to 250ug synacthen is a cortisol increase of greater then 200 nmol/l, to a peak value of at least 570 nmol/l Result consistent with adequate response to ACTH Sodium 138 (133-146) potassium 4.3 (3.5-5.3) Calcium Not Tested magnesium Not Tested Ever tested Aldosterone & renin? No, can I ask my NHS GP to test for these. It seems they will test everything I don't want over and over and not what I do ask for.
