I've been on 100mcg of T3 for 6 days now and seem to be tolerating it well

except for about 4 of those days I've had loose stools (just one time each day).

My afternoon temp is still 98.1-98.3. Feeling fatigued and still get short

episodes of a racing heart. Should I back off on the T3?

I'm taking 30 mg of HC as well.

Thanks!

With your temps thta low it is unlikly to be too much T3. But how lng

have you been on T3? It takes a minimum of 12 weeks to clear RT3 fom the

receptors and in that time pushign the T3 toohigh will cause other

symptoms (such as diarrhea) to appear. So if less than 12 weeks on T3

onyl, you need ot reduce to allow your body time to clear those

receptors so it can work properly.

Val,

You talk here about a minimum of 12 weeks to clear the receptors -- what is the most common range ie. 12 - ? how many weeks? I am at 12.5 weeks and haven't had a breakthrough -- I realize this is impatience, but just wondering how long it could go before breakthrough occurs.

Thanks,

Beth S.

I'm just starting my 11th week on T3 but thought I should raise since my temps

are low and my heart is handling the increases. Just had labs today for

ferritin, thyroid (F4, F3, etc.) and electolytes so I will post them when I

receive them back. I'm 34 weeks pregnant, do you really think I should decrease

my T3, Val? The loose stools seem to alternate with constipation, btw.

Thank you !
