I live in Spain and can't find anything equivalent to the eletrolyte panel so, would it be O.K if I tes sodium, potassium, chloride, and carbon dioxide? Is any of this unnecesary for now. 2. Also, my doctor wrote me a prescription some months ago fortesting Aldosterone for our next appointment, so I may do that as well...I have read you have to be 24 hours without taking salt. I guess this means no salted food, etc, right? 3. SOdium & Potassium are the important ones 2. Also, my doctor wrote me a prescription some months ago fortesting Aldosterone for our next appointment, so I may do that as well...I have read you have to be 24 hours without taking salt. I guess this means no salted food, etc, right? Yes avoid as much salt as oyu can for 24 hours pre-testing 3. Can I test electrolites at the same time than aldosterone, after 24 hors of salt fasting?
