Hello group,

I've been on Minocin for over two years. I want to mention that it gives me

major depression that immediately subsides days after discontinuing it. That

has not dissuaded me, and I have stayed on it. I am 85% recovered from my

disease, however the remaining 15% is causing problems: I am still very

fatigued and do not feel that I am accomplishing much. I have a brain dead

feeling. I am not very social. I wonder when mentally I will feel better

again- wonder when my brain will work again and I will not feel like such a

zombie. I am able to feel any negative emotion, but no positive ones unless

I take a break from the drug. I wonder if anyone has tried a stimulant like

Dexedrine. Any thoughts would be welcome. Thanks!

hello,

the brain needs certain chemicals to be able to make the neurotransmitters that

you need to feel good. it may be that in your case the mino prevents the making

of this chemicals.

I heard on the radio about a supplement called - good days - given free for a

month. I google it and the ingredients are from mother nature. it may be worth a

try.

Hi Caren;

Maybe you can lower your mino dosage.I now take only 100mg every

other day.At first I wasworried that I would feel worse but it had the

opposite effect of feeling much better.Everyone is different so try

fooling around with the dosage until you find what works for you.
