<<I talked to him about the inflammation I seem to have in myvulvar area and inside, and he asked me if I'd ever been onlong-term anti-inflammatory pills, I said just allergy pills, buthe gave me something stronger like what they use for arthritis.>> Has anyone else ever had any success with anti-inflammatory? I could see why this may help initially, but after the nerves have already proliferated, would it have much effect? Seems to good to be true, but a girl can dream, right? Thanks,Becky

Yes I would also be interested to know if anyone has had success with an anti-inflammatory.

I just want to say that given my allergic reactions and the possibility that this was brought on by an allergic reaction to Kwellada cream, (though can't say for sure) an anti-inflammatory in theory should help, since one theory is that VV is an inflammatory reaction... but again since everyone's different I doubt it would help everyone...that would be just to simple since we all have different conditions and causes! I figure I will give this a chance, about a month. After that time if there is no change I will probably discontinue use if my back isn't bugging me anymore. It's worth a shot right?!

The anti-inflammatory I'm on is prescribed for arthritis normally. It starts with an N...can't remember the name and I'm still in a bit of pain so not going to get up and look for it! lol. It is a non-steroid anti-inflammatory drug. Just stronger than ibuprofen...

Yes, it is probably the same one that can cause bloody stools/stomach issues. The important thing is to take it with food and not lie down within 30min. of taking it. I've been on it now for almost a week, no side affects whatsoever. I guess it depends on the person.
