antiobiotic therapy sub standard?

My RA doctor has put me on Methotrexate. She says antibiotic therapy is sub

standard and only used for people with mild arthritis, mine in bad.

I was just recently diagnosed last november 09. I could use all the support I

can get. I said I would try the Metho. for 6 months. Then I go to a doctor who

will give the antibiotics.

Any comments would be helpful.
