Finally got my endo yesterday to recheck my am blood cortisol, I am not on any adrenal meds and I do take armour thyroid daily. Could anyone help me better understand these results as to me I feel that they are falling from a year ago, but endo says that results will vary with every test for cortisol. Just looking for some assistance and advice from anyone that understands these. Last Years Blood Cortisol 1/2/07 23 Range is 7-24 Yesterdays Blood Cortisol 1/15/08 10.1 range is 4-24 So if the cortisol levels are within range is that saying that even if they change like the above in the last year that there is no adrenal issues? I asked for the ACTH but doc said no since cortisol is still within level. And has anyone else seen drops in theres like this as well?
