Hi. In the past I have read things from this group about how they

handled an infected tooth or rootcanal and the effects this had on

their ra status. Can anyone tell me what they had done to a tooth/

root canal that they felt may be infected or denfinitely was? That

is, what procedure did the dentist do? Was the tooth removed? Can

people please share their experience with me as well as the outcome.

Many thanks, June

June,

I have had two teeth removed recently and my dentist insisted that I take

Clyndamicen one hour before the procedure and then also for several days. He

send a request to my AP doctor to get permission for me to use the clyndi. I

have done well with it and had to just stop the Biaxin that I take on TuThSa. I

still are able to take the Minocin without a problem. What are you taking on

antibiotics? Make sure you take your probiotics or even double up on it.
