Guest guest
I have been feeling very very exhausted, my body is shakey and I cannot bear weight in arms or legs, and I assumed my t3 levels are low. Now I'm surprised they are high. they have never been so high (even while on synthroid it remained at the lower end of the range) I don't know what to do. Should I take less t3 today? or do I need to taper? > > labs from 3/22/10: > > TSH: .02 (.45-4.5) > T4, free: .04 (.82-1.77) > t3, free 7.2 (2.0-4.4) > > thyroid stimulating immunoglobulin: 84 (0-139) > > I was on 80 mcg t3 at the time. Guest guest
I know Val wrote to you what to do but I just wanted to tell you the same thing happened to me. My Ft3 got to 9.1. I also felt tired, weak etc. so I increased before I knew what my levels was. I reduced from 105mcg down to 75mcg and I am noticing improvement. I will see in 2 weeks where my Ft3 is now but I am better. Hope this helps.VeniziaSubject: Re: too high free t3?To: RT3_T3 Date: Friday, April 9, 2010, 2:21 PM I have been feeling very very exhausted, my body is shakey and I cannot bear weight in arms or legs, and I assumed my t3 levels are low. Guest guest
THanks for sharing! It helps to hear from others. I increased because I felt so fatigued, I assumed I was not on sufficient t3. > > > > > > labs from 3/22/10: > > > > > > TSH: .02 (.45-4.5) > > > T4, free: .04 (.82-1.77) > > > t3, free 7.2 (2.0-4.4) > > > > > > thyroid stimulating immunoglobulin: 84 (0-139) > > > > > > I was on 80 mcg t3 at the time. My basals are around 96.9-97.1 znd my temps throughout the day go up to 97.7 or at the very most 98.0 > > If more RT3 has clkeared or cortios is better adjusted or iron is > better it can work miraculously better. > > -- > > http://nthadrenalsweb.org/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ > http://faqhelp.webs.com/ > > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ > http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ > > http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ > http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ >
Guest guest
HIgh T3 in the blood means very little except that it si available to the cells. It does NOT mean it si in the cells and working as it shoudl. What this tells us uis that you stil have thyroid resistance. -- http://nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/

Guest guest
So should I lower my dose to 70 ? Thank you for all your help, Val! On 80 I had itching all over my body, I had severe exhaustion, and don't recall what else. These symptoms made me assume I was still hypo and needed more t3 so I increased to 82.5 then 85 and then 87.5 Now I'm so confused: do I continue to increase or do I decrease to 70? > > HIgh T3 in the blood means very little except that it si available to > the cells. Guest guest
My rt3 has cleared a long time ago. I've been on t3 since mid-November and by December 24th my rt3 was <17, and my free t3 was 2.5, because I was on very low dose t3 at the time. So my rt3 has cleared a long time ago. So far I haven't found a dose on which I feel good. My main symptom is exhaustion, fatigue, weakness, inability to focus and concentrate, poor memory. > > I would reduce to th3 point of no adverse symptoimd and hold there whiel > you search for the reason for the reisstance. Guest guest
RT3 in the bLOOD is NOT proof it is cleared. This is why tsting it once on T3 onyl is pointless, in fact it is deleterious as it shows it low when in actuality it may not be. Proof of RT3 clearance is in the thyroid gettign tothe cells to releive hypo symptoms and raise body temps where they need ot be and releiving fatigue,. BUT you must be certain everything else in in place for this to happen. I still worry about your iron status as thta is the most liekly cause of the way you feel as oyu are on a good dose of hC adn have been on T3 long enough. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
Guest guest
My ferritin as of 3/23/10 was 42 and I will retest in a coupla weeks. In the meantime I have reduced my hc to 35. My magnesium is 1.9 and has been on the past few labs. Could this be a problem? I'm still unsure as to whether to decrease to 70 t3 or continue with the 87.5? Should I use temps as a guide? > > RT3 in the bLOOD is NOT proof it is cleared.
