Guest guest
Atemolol is absolutely causing your RT3 probnlem. If oyu getyour homrones right you probabyl won;'t need it anyway. I was on FOUR bP med for my risiculously high BP and am off al of them now and have wonderful 127/77 BP. There is something wrong wiht that low saliva cortisol. Guest guest
My heart doctor has me on the atenolol. At 45 I had a heart attack with no or mild damage - we believe due to vioxx. My bp after that got worse (family history of high bp). He wanted me on a beta blocker and when I had my first symptoms of hyper they wanted me on it as a block and replace.....I'd be afraid to go off it? I feel like a mess! > > Atemolol is absolutely causing your RT3 probnlem. If oyu getyour > homrones right you probabyl won;'t need it anyway. Guest guest
How do I keep from going hyper on it since I've had that issue and had to switch to compounded T4/T3. My free T3 has for the most part been 3/4 in the range, if not higher. I had an episode at work that I had to be taken to the hospital due to rapid heartrate and I thought I was going to pass out. So that's when they put me on atenolol. I was on hhyrochlorize for my bp and it made me lose too much potassium... > > Then T3 is the ONE thyroid med oyu should be on for life. Guest guest
Can't I still be on atenolol for my heart but " up " the T3 to compensate? What else would I use for my heart? Not sure what my heart doctor would say about all this.... > > > > Then T3 is the ONE thyroid med oyu should be on for life.
