Guest guest
Val I sure hope you can help me. I still don't know if high or low cortisol or what. I decreased HC to 2.5 two nights ago and changed the daily dosing schedule as you had recommended 10/10/5/5. The first night I slept but was so exhausted from not sleeping the night before. Woke up with basal of 98 (up from usual) and temps yesterday were up and at my previous stable point of 98.4-5. Yesteday I functioned in a high fog. I had cut back from 32.5 to 30 of T3. I had no symptoms of being on edge, but still with bad skin flushing that causes me to lose heat and feel cold sometimes. Adrenaline? Never get hot and sweaty and heart pounding during the day... But, Last night up all night with it. Even broke through all my sleep meds. I am getting ferritin and electrolytes drawn today but wont get result until next week. I expect it will at least be higher than 44 I started with. My BP is good. My heart rate low 70's. I am supping 1/2 teaspoon sea salt twice a day but my sodium was good before, could that be detrimental? I don't have any idea what to do. Is my HPA axis just too broken? I was on almost these same doses a week ago and doing so much better. I can try to go back up on T3 today. I just don't know what. I can just keep riding it out if you think I need time to stabilize but work is making me go. Whenever I feel this bad I do get somewhat obscessed with my symptoms and wonder if the psychology of it makes everything worse, more stress, more cortisol. Thank you. Guest guest
Yes stressing over the sympotms DOES eat up more cortiosl and make things worse. ALWAYS try ot hold a new dose for at least 3 days but preferably a week. If it is sitl really bad in three days we can try to adjust further. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
