Guest guest
I have not found OTC potassium to be much help to anyone I htink a minimum of 600mg is required to help and that dose of PTC often causes stomach upset. You can order potasium from Canadian pharmacies thta si slow release it is not a prescription item there. I would get the 10mEq and start wiht one of those. -- http://nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/
Guest guest
Hi Rod: my potassium was low, and at Val's suggestion I started on the higher-dose Canadian time-release (K-Dur). It helped a lot with muscle weakness. I was also concerned about taking too much, so I got my serum potassium tested every two weeks, while I was increasing, until my potassium level was good and my dose was stabilized. > > Hi > > My potassium came back at 3.6 (3.5 - 5.3) > > This is quite low, and I think I need to increase it. Can anyone recommend a good starting dose of potassium for me. I've never dosed with it before and don't want to take too much by mistake. > > Thanks > Rod >
