Adding Armour to levothyroxine?

Has anyone added Armour to their levothyroxine?

I noticed that a few months back my t4 was pretty high. Now, 4 months

later, after seeing this doctor, he wants to me start adding armour

to

my levothyroxine dose (which is only 75mcg), and then slowly try and

ramp up, eventually taking out the levothyroxine, maybe someday

adding

just t3.

I think I'm going to try it. I just don't know how to, the doctor

said

it all so fast. He wanted me to start this before seeing the blood

test

results, and then get them drawn again.

Should I start with 60mg twice a day? I think thats what he said.

Take my DHEA with the thyroid meds in the morning, take the Armour at

7am and 1pm. Take the 75mcg levothyroxine with the first dose of

Armour

in the morning too.

Is this too much to introduce too fast? Should I just take 60mcg

Armour

once a day? Then, two weeks, take it twice a day, or will I be ok

taking it twice a day at first with the levothyroxine?

I don't know anything about having too much t4, or if you get too

much

t4?

Thanks,

Any advice, opinions, past experiences are appreciated.
