Guest guest
I was told to quit my 1/2 capsule of Fludrocortisone/Florinef today, and ALSO stop all salt intake. Hertoghe says salt intoxication goes up and down with salt intake, that's why you can't prove you have it by serum sodium.I was also told to start ERFA Thyroid today. Go down from 65 mcg T3 to 55 mcg T3, and take 1/4 ERFA Thyroid (15 mg), for 7 days, then further replace T3 with ERFA Thyroid.I asked about rT3 and he said that rT3 is solved anyway by adding more ERFA Thyroid. He did, however, add that if I don't get better I have to take just plain T3 in the end. But he wants to try with ERFA Thyroid first, to make sure I get all the T's ! He also thinks it's a huge stress foir me to take thyroid meds 10+ times daily. He thinks ONCE daily is enough: Morning time. So you can get your mind to other things the rest of the day.I was also told to start testosterone gel today.I woke up early today from an intense headache. He also thinks I am on too much T3 because of my, at times, fast pulse.

I don't know, the adrenals people may know better than me >I was also told to start ERFA Thyroid today. After a week or so the T4 levels will build up enough to convert to another 4 or so of T3 so it's less of a dose drop after a while if they convert successfully >I asked about rT3 and he said that rT3 is solved anyway by adding more ERFA Thyroid. How?? >He did, however, add that if I don't get better I have to take just plain T3 in the end. Suck it and see >But he wants to try with ERFA Thyroid first, to make sure I get all the T's ! Time will tell >He also thinks it's a huge stress foir me to take thyroid meds 10+ times daily. He thinks ONCE daily is enough: Morning time. I tried taking 50 in a morning dose instead of 25 at 7 and 25 at 10 and I crashed, severe fatigue and a temperature drop, had to sleep for an hour at lunchtime. >I was also told to start testosterone gel today. Makes sense, apart from the sound scientific principal of " change one thing at a time " > >I woke up early today from an intense headache. He also thinks I am on too much T3 because of my, at times, fast pulse. for me if it were T3 induced it would be high ALL the time. The dose change he has given you is a drop so that's why he thought along those lines. It goes against what a lot of people have found, I can't comment on the adrenal side but I have learnt a lot about the thyroid side of things and if I were you I would not take all your thyroid at once.
