Guest guest
My sister checked into popcorn flour and apparently grinding it creates alot of heat and one grain processor said they made 100 lbs of it and quit because the heat caused problems by blocking the lines on their equipment. He claimed no-one is currently grinding it. We live in the area of " Jolly-Time Popcorn " and maybe they'll consider something. She talked to this gentleman about grinding her own with an attachment on her kitchenAid mixer; he told her she would wreck it and it took him several hours to get 2 lbs with that method. Popcorn kernals are much harder compared to softer grains like wheat, is what he commented. My sister and I really wanted to try it too, so if you find any please post it. Thanks, Joan
