And these are the sex hormones results (day 21 of cycle):

testosterone: 0.04 ng/ml (0.3-7)

free testosterone: 0.86 pg/ml (range less than 2.6)

progesterone: 20.49 pg/ml (3.28-38)

estradiol 222.7 pg/ml (31-247)

DHEA-S 1.43 (0.75-4.1)

I am supplementing with 15 DHEA (not taken the morning of the test)

I have some problems which could potentially be realted with sex hormones:

1- no sex drive (it became particularly bad after I started Armour, before

taking HC or DHEA).

2- Every cycle I start spotting (bleeding more or less severely) 4 days before

period comes (with pain and heavier flow). This has been happening to me the

last 5 years, after I stop taking the contraceptive pill (Diane). I took Diane

for only 2-3 years and I don't remember having this spotting problem before in

my life.

Let's see what you think!

Many thanks,

From these I would say oy uneed testosterone badly. It WILL help your sex drive!

It si faily easy to adjust, Ijust increased mine slowly until I get pimples then

back it up to the last dose that didnot cause them and it comes out perfect high

wihtin the normal range.

Well it will be nice to have some sex drive back...

Never taken testosterone before, it actually was sometimes high before Armour (I

think because of PCOS), so what's the best way to take it, cream, tablets???

Two more about sex hormones:

1. Would you say the rest of the hormones are O.K.? Is the

estradiol/progesterone ratio O.K? I do have symptoms of estrogen dominance but I

have no idea how to check it in the labs.

I worry because I can't get pregnant and I blame the spotting problem (a few

days before the period i start bleeding), although who knows... It would make

sense to blame low progesterone, but it actually seems to be O.K. and once I

supplemented and the spotting was even worse. I also hopped " fixing " the thyroid

hormones would help, but so far it hasn't.

2. Also, according to this labs, should I stop supplementing DHEA (it is lowish

though)? Actually, estradiol and progesterone levels are pretty similar to those

I had before treating thyroid/adrenals.

Many thanks,
