I checked my magnesium and it is low 1.6 so I'd like to supplement. I've tried

the magnesium oil but got a rash from it.

Is there a preferred kind of magnesium supplement? How long does it take to get

magnesium into normal range?

My low magnesium has got me thinking I may be low in copper or zinc, etc. Next

time I go to my doc I will ask for labwork that includes zinc and copper and any

other ideas I may get here :)

Diluting the magnesium oil 50/50 with water may make it possible for you to use

it without the skin irritation.

I hope you don't mine me jumping in here :) I just started using magnesium oil and I get a rash as well. I have been applying it twice a day and rinsing it off but while it's on it burns. Does diluting it 50/50 cut down on it's effectiveness?

I tried to " square up the equation " by applying the diluted magnesium to twice

as much skin area as I had been applying the full-strength. Seems to be working

as far as I can tell.

Okay. great, then I'll try this. I apply it to everywhere but my face and then shower off 30-40 minutes later. I can't stand the feeling of it on my skin.
