Guest guest
I see some postings here that mention a stage of adrenal fatigue, but my results from Genova Diagnostics don't have that. This is the first saliva test I've had, so I have nothing previous to look at. My doc said that my levels follow a proper pattern, but that my end of day cortisol is low. I am not using any cortisol replacement, but am using supplements for adrenal support (main product contains panax ginseng, rhodiola and cordyceps). Also, my serum DHEA was normal, while my salivary DHEA was low and my ratio was on the low side of the reference range. Can anyone tell me if these results indicate a certain stage? I'm thinking my results aren't too bad, but this is all fairly new to me. Thanks! Jodi Here are my results and the lab's reference ranges for cortisol: 0.49 / 7 - 9 a.m. / range 0.27 - 1.18 mcg/dL 0.23 / 11 - 1 / range 0.10 - 0.41 0.13 / 3 - 5 pm / range 0.05 - 0.27 <0.03 / 10 - midnight / range 0.03 - 0.14 DHEA (saliva) - 74 /range 71 - 640 pg/mL DHEA Cortisol Ration/10,000 - 151/range 115 - 1,
