Guest guest
Hi , Is it a relatively isolated incident of reflux/esophagus damage, possibly due to the medications not getting and staying down? Have you been tested for an H. pylori infection?
Guest guest
hi michelle thanks for your message. not it's no reflux. it's lower down that that. and i've had irrit from anti-inflamms before which stopped when i stopped asking them. this is different. it burns all the time - anti-inflamms or not. when it started i hadn't even taking an anti-inflamm. and with pantaloc, eno, and aloe vera the pain is not as bad after 2 days as it was. am not taking anti-inflamms anymore. don't want to risk anymore damage. man i had no idea how painful an ulcer is. so now i'll need to go with supplmts and hope i can find some that actually work vs. inflamm. any ideas out there? i've trid so many with no relief. diet helps for sure but it's not enough on its own. ii can;t tolerate mSM as it makes me violently ill. seems i am quite sensitive huh? the doc in ER said that when someone with ulcer pain is on long term NSAIDs they don't test for h pylori as generally it is the NSAID doing the damage. if the pantaloc and aloe vera don't work i go back and they will test for it as well as do a gastroscope. i sure hope that i can correct this on my own and don't need to go back. monique Hi , Is it a relatively isolated incident of reflux/esophagus damage, possibly due to the medications not getting and staying down? Guest guest
Oh La La ; Youare bringing back bad memories. When I was at my worst I only used Prevacid for the reflux pain .Nattokinase and Serrapeptase are truly great anti-inflamatories that worked for me.Trouble is that they take a few weeks to really kick in.I could not take any anti-inflamatory other than asperin as I got terribly nautious when I did and one can only take so many asperins without causing more burning. Yeah...makes sense. Is the arthritic pain terrible without a NSAID? How long have you been on the Antibiotic Protocol? I've read that a tea made with slippery elm powder can been soothing and healing for damaged mucousal linings in the GI tract. I don't know, however, if it will interfere with the absorption of any meds. I had a bad case of reflux at one time, and made a tea/gruel of Slippery Elm powder, hot water, and little cinnamon (you can sweeten it too). It helped significantly. Good luck ,
