Guest guest
I have no intrinsic factor. The part of my stomach that makes it was surgically removed. I keep my b12 up with sublingual b12, 5000 mcg of methylcobalamin daily. It's no use me swallowing the b12, I can't absorb it that way, it just goes in one end and out the other. It has to be sublingual. Before my doofus doctors " discovered " my problem (hey, weren't you the same guys who told me to get 2/3 of my stomach removed?!?!) I had pernicious anemia/megaloblastic anemia, and a boat load of associated health problems. But my b12 issues have since been 100% resolved by the sublingual. Hope this helps. > > has anyone been tested for antibodies to intrinsic factor? anyone know anything about intrinsic factor? s >

Guest guest
Yes, my pernicious anemia and megaloblastic anemia were caused by b12 deficiency. > > > > has anyone been tested for antibodies to intrinsic factor? anyone know anything about intrinsic factor? s > > >
