Guest guest
I think I'd like to have IgG allergy testing done on my 22 month old ds. As days go by I am becoming more and more convinced that he is not autistic, it is merely a food intolerance issue. Either that or he's a super-responder to the diet. We've never gotten a diagnosis but I know for a fact that no dr. would diagnose him as AS now, he's too loving, attached, engaged, plays well with toys and siblings, etc. A big change from a year ago before we were gf/cf! Anyway, I called Great Plains labs to order the kit. I spoke with a not-too-helpful young woman on the phone, I was not really impressed. Have others used Great Plains for the big allergy panel? Or would you recommend Great Smokies? If others think Greak Smokies is better, would you please post contact info for them? And one more thing, is it true that allergies will only show up if the food has been eaten in the last year? I'm not too worried about gluten - we've had infringements here and there, but I'm not sure about casien, and it's really all the other foods I am most curious about.
