Ferritin Problem - HELP

I am wondering how much I can reduce my T3 while I wait to get my ferritin

re-tested on Monday.

I've been having problems for the last few weeks with really high heart rate,

weakness and shakiness in my legs and a lot of sweating at night. I've been

thinking it was other issues (low sodium, low estrogen, etc.) but just had a

thought that my last ferritin test (160) must be falsely high because of

inflammation. My ferritin was 32 in December and I had a series of iron IVs in

January/February plus I've been taking a lot of Bluebonnet iron supplements.

But looking over my labs last night, I realize that my ferritin test results

usually went up about 40 after each IV. But my last test showed an increase of

90. At the time, I thought it was maybe because I had also been supplementing

quite a lot but now I'm thinking it is not a true reading.

Anyway, I have to wait five days before getting ferritin test and full iron

panel done. But I would like to reduce my T3 in case this is the issue as I am

really not feeling good. Right now I am taking 81.25 mcg cynomel (18.75, 18.75,

18.75, 12.5, 12.5) I would like to reduce it as low as can be done safely until

I get those tests. Not sure if this info is needed but last thyroid labs on

April 8 were:

Free T3 6.9 (3.5 - 6.5)

Free T4 5.1 (11.0 - 23.0)

How much T3 can I reduce while waiting for the ferritin test?

Thanks very much for your help :o)
