Guest guest
Val, I did. Here are the results. iron 142 29-180 unsaturated iron binding 121 141-353 ,I always have been with this low binding and when asked the hematologyst he say it's not a concern ar anything to worry about. TIBC 263 220-428 ferritin 202 10-290 Val, what else would you suggest before I go to add T4? I wanted to ask you also, when you went to a T4 and T3 after you cleared your RT3 how long took you to see it di dnot work and went back to T3 only? I want so much to be able to stay on T3 only but I'm not able to raise more T3.I know my RT3 from 68 went down to 3 ,my TSH is 0.04,FT4 is 0.30,but my FT3 is not real because I had taken the T3 before that. I repeated the test yesterday and if it turns out my FT3 is in good levels will proof I cleared RT3 and I can't raise T3 ,should I add some T4? Since,I'm taking 50mcg T3 and I was on 100,120mg of T4 when I was doing ok for 20 years, before I crashed ,what amount sholuld I add of T4? Please give me your suggestion,I know you have gone trough so mucha and seen a lot. I need your input to make a right desicion, please. Guest guest
Val, I just did a reaserch on C-reacive protein. " How is it used? The CRP test is useful in assessing patients with: Inflammatory bowel disease Some forms of arthritis Autoimmune diseases Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) CRP may be used to screen apparently healthy people for the following conditions. However, in these cases, the more sensitive test hs-CRP will be ordered: Coronary heart disease (CHD) Cardiovascular disease While the CRP test is not specific enough to diagnose a particular disease, it does serve as a general marker for infection and inflammation, thus alerting medical professionals that further testing and treatment may be necessary " Val, I do have 2 of the pointed deases. I have Helicobacter pylori and I have autoimunne deases Hashimoto. So,the test will be sure positive, which will confirm this problems. But how this 2 things can interfiere with tolerating T3? I don't think that will help my case, doing this test. I know you said you had Hpylori and did go away after you got under control your thyroid. So,this won't get me farther with solving my problem why I can't raise more T3? I'm goingto have in a 2 weeks probably mny new thyroid test and will se what the FT3 will be then. Thanks Milena > > I'm wondering what are my options ahead to get unhypo, since I can't raise the T3 over 50mcg.All my life I was on 100/120mcg T4 until I crashed and I went up to 180mcg T4 and still was very bad. > Val if I covered everything it's necessery to get on a good dose of T3 and I can't go higher, what is the next for me? I pushed my ferritin form 13 to 200,I was on 35 mg HC for 7 months and now I have to lower it for a high corts symtoms. My vit D is 50 form 10. Now the last thing I'm doing is started th eflorinef. If I have to go on T4 and T3 combo, what do you suggest to be the amount of T3 and the amount of T4? > I don't know what else I can do? > Thanks a lot > Milena >
