To Ging (and all squirrel hunters)

Ging, Thanks for your kind words about our many ailments. Glad to hear that

your Z/Z combo is working - it is indeed a mystery why they work sometimes

and another bout ignores the meds! I also take the same combo plus Claritin

and Zyflo, as well as trying to stick to the low salycilate diet, and it

seems to be helping. But the holidays are coming up . . . and the food . . .

and the chocolate . . . and wine . . .

Which reminds me - here so many of us are trying to stick to our healthy

diets, and I am starting to get grossed out by all this talk of squirrel

brains, chittlins, cracklins, and pigs feet! Pretty soon will be talking

about pickled eggs! And how about sweetbreads and calf's tongue! Ha! :-) I

actually remember my grandfather hunting every Thanksgiving with all the men

and always bringing back rabbits and squirrels. And I still wouldn't touch

them! The squirrels in our yard all look fleabitten, and my dogs are

constantly hunting them as well as opossums. Hey - how about 'possum stew?

And poke salad? Yes, my true southern country (redneck) heritage is showing

through! Ya'll have a nice dinner now!
