Guest guest
I don't take HC, I can't take it. I tried to reduced my T3 from 75 to 70 and to spread it out but this made my heart rate even higher. I am back to 75 and spreading it out all day and before bed. What I have noticed is that my BP's bottom number goes up to 99 my heart rate is lower at 88 and when my heart rate when resting is at 114 my BP's lower number is 77 or in that range. I totally understand what you are saying. I think I need more T3 but when I increase my heart rate goes higher and I feel nervous. I'm afraid to raise it even just a little. Did you see results instantly or did it take days or weeks to see your heart rate go down after you increased? I am wanting to help but from the totality of e mails below I'm not sure my info applies here. Just suffice to say I'm on 13 meds PLUS lots of HC and thyroid....but the point i'm trying to make is....when I INCREASED my daily doses of both HC and dessicated thyroid....and also the frequency ...from 2 times a day.. to 4 times a day...my heart beats per minutes got reduced . my resting beat PREVIOUSLY at the lowest ...was 88 with my beat when walking or going up small hill up to 135 or 140 ish. after Hc and thyroid increases...the resting Heart beat went down to between 78 and 71. and I stopped almost all the skipped and palpatations I had previously. Guest guest
OK first thing you need to remember is that I'm on dessicated thyroid....not T3 (look below and see in prior e mail where i say " dessicated " ) But I ALSO take a huge amount of HC daily. every time I take dessicated thyroid (Erfa) I also take a dose of HC. why do you say you caNNOT take HC? what did it do to you before? if you took it before? I really think you need the experitise and tremendously intelligent experiences of the moderator....and I also have a hunch that perhaps you are taking too much T3 for taking it WITHOUT HC....but that's only a gut feeling hunch. Guest guest
you need to understand my heart rate went down when i increased the HC and a bit more of Erfa dessicated thyroid. and I changed my split up dosages from 2 X a day .....to 4 X a day but during the experimental changes for a number of days I had to change to five times a day doses. a little background at 2 x a day i took 20 mg HC with 125 mg erfa in am and 15 mg Hc and 62 mg Erfa in pm. and I was getting freezing cold from about 2 pm to 4 pm...at someones suggestion I tried a little more Erfa BEFORE the freezing attacks ....it helped but my body temps were still rising up and down like a rocket from perhaps 95-something to as high as 99. multiple times a day...and was also having freezing and then sweating attacks, about every 30 minutes or so. I experimented...to make long story short .....ended up with total daily HC of 60 mg , and erfa of 312 mg a day, both divided in four doses taken at same time. now my temps are so much more stable ....(YEAAAH! )and the freezing and then sweating attacks are mostly history except for the early AM ones before the blood level gets UP....but you need to also keep in mind I lack INTRINSIC factor, and also have malabsorbtion syndrome, hypermobile intestinal transet time, as well as many other medical conditions that probably affect WHY i need so much. Guest guest
you need to understand my heart rate went down when i increased the HC and a bit more of Erfa dessicated thyroid. and I changed my split up dosages from 2 X a day .....to 4 X a day but during the experimental changes for a number of days I had to change to five times a day doses. a little background at 2 x a day i took 20 mg HC with 125 mg erfa in am and 15 mg Hc and 62 mg Erfa in pm. and I was getting freezing cold from about 2 pm to 4 pm...at someones suggestion I tried a little more Erfa BEFORE the freezing attacks ....it helped but my body temps were still rising up and down like a rocket from perhaps 95-something to as high as 99. multiple times a day...and was also having freezing and then sweating attacks, about every 30 minutes or so. Guest guest
I tried HC when I first started on T3 and have tried it on and off for over the last year. I have too much cortisol in the mornings and during the day it's okay so when I take HC I get all the symptoms of having too much. Big time headaches and bloating and my heart rate didn't go down after taking it, in fact it made it worse. My tempts have always stayed the same at 97.5-97.7 and have been like this for as long as I can remember and don't fluctuate very much if any.Actually I think I'm not taking enough T3 because my tempts show that. When I cut back on the T3 this is when all of my problems seemed to start, my BP was alway high on the DIA number like 99 but the top number was low like 120 and sometimes less. Someone told me that if the two numbers are close this means you need more thyroid med. So keeping this in my mind I just realized that when I took more T3 this afternoon my heart rate didn't go up that much but my BP went down on the DIA bottom number and I felt better. Maybe this is my imagination but taking more T3 seems to make me feel much better instead of worse. My adrenals are okay, this is not my problem but something else seems to be off if my heart rate wants to stay fast. Maybe the magnesium will help keep my heart rate down. Anyway... thanks for the help. OK first thing you need to remember is that I'm on dessicated thyroid....not T3 (look below and see in prior e mail where i say "dessicated") But I ALSO take a huge amount of HC daily. every time I take dessicated thyroid (Erfa) I also take a dose of HC. why do you say you caNNOT take HC? what did it do to you before? if you took it before? I really think you need the experitise and tremendously intelligent experiences of the moderator....and I also have a hunch that perhaps you are taking too much T3 for taking it WITHOUT HC....but that's only a gut feeling hunch. C. Hunter > I don't take HC, I can't take it. I tried to reduced my T3 from 75 to 70 > and to spread it out but this made my heart rate even higher. I think I need more T3 but when I increase my heart rate goes higher and I feel nervous. I'm afraid to raise it even just a little. I've lost track of threads and am trying to catch up. Have you had ferritin tested?? if that's below 70 you will have potential problems with adrenaline getting produced and that will cause anxiety and fast pulse. Guest guest
I'm going to have that tested on Monday or Tuesday. The last time I test it was high but I think since I had been supplementing I didn't quit for long enough so I'm testing again. I've been taking magnesium and so far it's still high. > >I totally understand what you are saying. I think I need more T3 but when I increase my heart rate goes higher and I feel nervous.
