Not sure what you mean by iron " injections " , but I have better results with

Venofer IV's than I ever did with intramuscular iron injections.

The dr is doing 5 weeks of IV iron (1 hour IV) - She did not say witch one - should I be worried?

I would not be worried. I mainly wanted to share my experience with

intramuscular iron - iron in which the dose is injected directly into a muscle,

as opposed to IV iron, where you get a bag that " drips " into a vein. I've had

both - and did not see much benefit from the intramuscular shots, the IVs worked

much better to raise my iron.

I've had several different brands of iron IVs (Venofer, Ferrlecit), they all

worked well. I believe Venofer is one of the newer ones, those are the ones I

usually get, but it's the delivery method - IV vs. intramuscular - which made

the difference for me.
