I do nto knwo what oregano oil does you need to Google it wiht thyroid

to see if thta ois a possibility. What were you taking it for? The brand

of T3 you are taking is a little on the weak side and it takes at least

12 weeks ot clear Rt3 as well so maybe you just have not been on it long

enough

Val,I have been taking 150mcgs.(Ti-Tre) for at least a year. I was taking the oregano oil gel caps because I frequently get skin infections when I get cuts/scratches in cuticles, inside my nose ( if my fingernail goes through the kleenex) ,in front of my neck. These infections turn into systemic bacterial infections, if I don't take antibiotics. (I was taking the oregano oil so I wouldn't have to take antibiotics as often.)My latest thyroid labs:F T3: 490.8 (range: 230.0-420.0)PG/DL

Ft4: 0.16 (range: 0.80-1.80)NG/DL

TSH: <0.03 (range: 0.35-5.50) uIU/ML

Your FT3 is stil a bit low for someone on T3 only. My lab's ranges top

at 420 and I feel best at 620.

My last endo wanted me to lower my Ti-Tre(150mcgs.)because my FT3 was "so high" at 420(top of range).

The new endo, who I will also fire, told me to get off all thyroid meds. and

supplements. He couldn't understand why any doctor would put me onCytomel.By the way, Val, I asked the first endo to let me take the following bloodtests: shbg, dhea-s, free/total testosterone, estradiol, progesterone,RBC potassium, magnesium. She wouldn't allow it.She said "there was no justification for these tests."

JEEZ sounds liek you live in a area of total morons for Endos, but

believe me you are NOT alone there. That is the most useless specialty I

have ever encountered.

This has happened to my face too! Large pores and thick skin. I really dont know

how to fix it =( my doc sais thyroid is ok so i really dont have a clu as to how

to fix it =( =( =(

it has looked like this for half a year now =(

I was on a low carb diet and eating lots of coconut milk and some other

antifungals at the time when it happened. it also feels like i don't have as

much feeling in my face as i used to. If i pinch my face, it hardly doesn't

hurt. If you find something that helps, please tell me!
