Guest guest
Taking calming supplements like True Calm by Now as well as Adrenal supporting herb supplements with L-theanine and 5HTP has been helping me - even though my ferritin was also extremely low. What also really helped is changing my diet to no sugar and mainly vegetables for carbs. I don't think I can take an iron supplements because OPT cancer markers were found in my body. Does anyone have any info on that? Tammy Re: Help with hypo/adrenal/hormone issues Currently I am taking a product called Calm-PRT. It is a mixture of rhodiola and PS. I am taking 1000 mgs before bed. The only zinc I am taking is in my multivitamin- -20 mgs. What would the extra zinc be for? I had my ferritin testedlast summer. It was 15.60 (range 6.24-137). The only iron I am taking is in my multivitamin as well. My ND did not seem to concerned about the ferritin. My B12 is above the range. How do I convince my doc to let me go higher with the T3? I feel like if I can get the cortisol under control then maybe my other hormones will level themselves out as well. Problem is my stress level is high. I have 3 kids, one with a life-threatening genetic disease, we are a military family, hubby is deployed for the next 6 months so I'm on my own, frequent moves, no family support. Basically my stress isn't going away any time soon:)

Can you tell me more about those cancer markers and how they were identified? Guest guest
They were identified by a syncrometer tester ( Dr. Hulda 's protocol) in stomach and upper intestines. I also have a tumour on my shoulder which did not test cancerous - but I haven't had a medical diagnosis. I'm thinking it could be tied to long standing tooth problems.
