Guest guest
I was looking through past labwork and free t3 has never been tested even by 'top endocrinologists' When I became aware of the need to test 'frees' I began to request it from my doc, or else I just check it off on the requisition form. Well, I just did some research and found this fascinating fact: the frees tests are one of the most expensive tests! Here's a sampling of the amount of money my lab charges for tests: general health panel is $194 lipid panel is $100 B-12 is $111 total testosterone is $162 magnesium is $57 free t4 is $249 free t3 is $227 you get the picture? could this be the reason doc's don't readily test the frees???
