Guest guest
Sorry, coming in late here, have you had your aldosterone tested? Dizziness and bad reaction to bright lights are two symptoms of low aldosterone. (The dizziness may be from low blood pressure, and the sensitivity to light from electrolyte imbalance, both of which can be a result of low aldosterone.) http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/adrenal-info/ > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Val, I'm not sure I should post this here but I'm in a big truble with my HC dosing. > > > > > > > > I'm on 30mg HC for 10 days and still have issues,today was very bad ,I had nausea 2 times but I don't want to give up,because I beleive I need to lower the amount. > > > > > > > > My question is for the dosing. > > > > > > > > I'm on > > > > > > > > 8am 10 > > > > > > > > 12 7.5 > > > > > > > > 2pm 2.5 > > > > > > > > 4pm 5 > > > > > > > > bedtime 5 > > > > > > > > Is it ok if I try every 2 hours like that > > > > > > > > 8am 7.5 > > > > > > > > 10am 2.5 > > > > > > > > 12 7.5 > > > > > > > > 2pm 2.5 > > > > > > > > 4pm 5 > > > > > > > > bedtime 5 > > > > > > > > I just wonder if startign with 7.5 in the morning may let my adrenals to produce more for the day. > > > > > > > > thanks a lot > > > > > > > > Milena > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
Low aldosterone is a low-functioning-adrenal problem. Low cortisol is more common, but some of us have low aldosterone, too. Low aldosterone can contribute to electrolyte imbalances, which is one cause of " brain fog " . Here is a link to more info about adrenals and aldosterone: http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/adrenal-info/ If you test low for aldosterone, supplementing with celtic sea salt may help. For a starting dose, I'll quote Val: " take 1/2 teaspoon in a glass of water AM and PM but make certain it is GOOD salt. Unrefined sea salt like Celtic " I do not know about the estradiol...my estrogen is way too HIGH, not low. But I have read that some people need to try several different types of estrogen before they find one that works well for them. Hope this helps. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Val, I'm not sure I should post this here but I'm in a big truble with my HC dosing. > > > > > > > > > > I'm on 30mg HC for 10 days and still have issues,today was very bad ,I had nausea 2 times but I don't want to give up,because I beleive I need to lower the amount. > > > > > > > > > > My question is for the dosing. > > > > > > > > > > I'm on > > > > > > > > > > 8am 10 > > > > > > > > > > 12 7.5 > > > > > > > > > > 2pm 2.5 > > > > > > > > > > 4pm 5 > > > > > > > > > > bedtime 5 > > > > > > > > > > Is it ok if I try every 2 hours like that > > > > > > > > > > 8am 7.5 > > > > > > > > > > 10am 2.5 > > > > > > > > > > 12 7.5 > > > > > > > > > > 2pm 2.5 > > > > > > > > > > 4pm 5 > > > > > > > > > > bedtime 5 > > > > > > > > > > I just wonder if startign with 7.5 in the morning may let my adrenals to produce more for the day. > > > > > > > > > > thanks a lot > > > > > > > > > > Milena > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
