hey, just joined and i have some labs id like to post, wondering really what

level of T3 i should currently be on

Ft3= 2.8pg/ml(2.0-4.4)

Rt3= 253pg/ml(90-350)

tsh=.009

Ft4=.9ng/dl(0.82-1.77)

B12=370pg/ml(211-911)

dhea=69.3ug/dl(98.8-340.0)

VitD=27.8ng/ml(32-100)

magnesium=2.1mg/dl(1.6-2.6)

testosterone =15ng/dl(6-82)

estrodiol= 60.2pg/ml

follicular 12.5-166

ovulation 85.8-498

luteal 43.8-211

ferritin(from a lab done by a previous doc a few months back)= 31ng/ml (10-291)

i used to be on dessicated thyroid, when shortages happened scrambled to find a

doc, struggled with that one... doc wanted me to reduce from 3grains (i had been

on 3gr for 2+ years, plus 30-32.5mgHC) b/c FT3 were too high for him. didnt

like that doc...so then, i had trouble getting my doses back to normal.

i was on bout 1-1.5grains for a period while i was waiting for a new doc.

during this period, when they were stable, my temps were high, averaging 98.9...

now i did menstrate, and then i got a really really bad cold that finally

knocked my on my butt this past week, but the high temps still confuse me.

anyway, above are results from his requested labs. LOVED the new doc, he told me

all about RT3s, i didnt have to fight him, he was just as passionite about

fallacies of medicine and lab ranges, and he has a RT3 problem himself...and

he's posted on STTM before, etc. he actually prescribed HC, said i should be at

30mg/per day, down from my 32.5-35mg.

He gave me a whole supplement regime:

estrogen patch changed every 3days, test. cream .01ml per day, and some progest

cream for days 12-24 of my cycle,

vitD 5,000iu per day, multivitamin3Xday, bufferd vitC 1,000BID 2Xday, DHEA10mg

in AM, livercleanse(silymoren)2Xday, magnes citrate 400mg 2Xday, and

B12(methylcobalamin) 1mg under tongue

only thing he really really missed is the iron...i just started taking 29mgIron

3Xday...i am suspecting though, that is not enough... wonder what i SHOULD be

taking of iron.

and he prescribed SRt3 compounded from a pharmacy up north. it just came in

mail two days ago.

it is sat now, and mon was my appointment with him. It so happens that in this

shortage i had ordered what i thought was Cytomel (but it doesnt say Cytomel

anywhere on bottle, and its made by Goldsheild). anyway, on tues, i started the

supplement regime,and i started taking this T3only suppl...it comes in 20mcg...

so i took 10, 10, and 10mcg, spread out throughout day. anyway, i started to

feel good energy wise,esp on thurs, i felt great. then yesterday, in afternoon,

started to feel hypo and tired again, and then this morning i woke up (really

late) feeling SOOOO bloated and swollen, just edema like crazy... havent felt

this swollen in a while, my fingers are ice, and i feel like i have put on 10 in

tha last 2weeks. yikes.

anyway, i am really wondering how to be dosing my T3... should i add some more?

i have a follow up phone consult(i live 3hrs away) on this wed, which is when he

is going to tell me exactly what to do with the SRT3. from what i have been

reading in the meantime though, i am now doubting the sustained release stuff,

esp cuz i seem to have a hard time absorbing things. i really dont know how

what to say to him about that, esp since i think its what he takes and bc i just

wrote his pharmacist a $94 check for it and now i might turn around and ask for

a different kind. help please
