Guest guest
My cortisol burden was 21 (23-42) My DHEA was 4 (3-10) Other than that, my results are iffy(low, normal, low, normal), but I think we've determined I was in Stage 4. THis was in October 2007. Can someone explain what the cortisol burden is? And, with these results over 3 months ago...should I repeat the saliva test before adding in DHEA and or Cortef? I took adrenal supplements for a while a month ago, and so on...I thought we should retest before starting any treatment when its been that long, right? Thanks
Guest guest
The range for the cortisol burden if oyu add up the botton of the ranges through the day oyu get the bottom number and the top of ranges is the top number, your burden is the total of YOUR cortiosl for all four times added together. If oyu have not taken any med with cortios in them I would retest as you can't test once you start it. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.seewell4less.com/Valspage.htm Medical Alert Bracelets
