I disagree with the statement " All forms of Iron are Ferrous *something.* " .

Iron has oxidation states from -2 to +6. The most common oxidation states

for iron are +2 and +3. Ferrous refers to bivalent iron, iron having an

oxidation state of +2. Ferric refers to trivalent iron, iron having an

oxidation state of +3. Ferrous bis-glycinate obviously conjugated iron n

the +2 oxidation state, whereas ferric tris-glycinate is +3, etc, etc.

Likewise, for other elements possessing multiple oxidation states, the -ous

ending is always before the -ic ending.

Well, somebody has to say it. Those candies are just candy. Calcium

carbonate is handy for decent blood work, but to put calcium into your

bones, it's gotta be calcium citrate.
