LOL! In that case, the damage has already been done. At least you can

eat the stuff.

Once again its globalization and corporate interests that created the problem

yet those responsible are everyone but.:-) Japanese knotweed seems to be the

noxious weed around here. Its the only plant I give a good drink of vinegar to

to kill after seeing how its overgrown some yards. Plenty else free, native

and

less invasive to eat.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>Sorry about the two previous no message posts. I was

perusing some of the topics I'm most interested in from last weekend

and found this story. The big Government seems impossible to deal

with! I guessed they wanted to control seeds but thought they would

do it thru certified hybrid seed channels. They will stop at nothing.

The gov thinks they can stop personal gardening with heirloom seeds.

And farmers won't be able to save and plant their own seeds either.

Farmer's do not need to buy seeds in many cases so the gov is trying

to stop themthru this angle. Anybody want to guess what seeds cost

the farmer when purchased from the corporate seed companies? I'm

probably getting off topic but this will be another attack on small as

well as ANY size farmer, in my opinion. Cause even " bigger " farmers

save and plant their own seeds. And not to mention all those

bio-engineered seeds the big companies push on the gardener/farmer.I

heard potatoes are bio-engineered and cause stomach problems. Dennis
