Guest guest
Are they stable but low? I think what happens is that as you take t3, your own production of thyroid hormones drop, which ultimately leaves you with less thyroid than you started with. So you have to keep bumping up as tolerated of course. I think Nick refers to this as " chasing the decaying t4. Guest guest
No, I felt horrible if I waited too long in between T3 dose increases. By day four I was slipping back into hypo; and I felt better right after each increase. If this is not the case for you, you may need to stay at your current dose or decrease until you can look into why you aren't tolerating T3 (low ferritin? low or high cortisol?). These are common causes (but they are outside of my own experience). > > > > > > > > Hi- > > > > > > > > I started on 6.25 mg T3 (cynomel) and did well. after 3 days i went up to 12.5. since then (5 days) i have had extreme air hunger (hard to even walk sometimes). my temps are pretty stable. i am not sure why this is or what to do about it? > > > > > > > > does this mean i am not ready for T3? do i back off the dosage? wait a bit longer where i am and try to go up? > > > > > > > > thanks for help. tammy > > > > > > > > > >
