Thanks!! He said the same thing about the cream and sublingual. I already do creams for the estrogen and progesterone but he suggested I might try sublingual progesterone since I still have problems going to sleep at night. He also said that the sleep problem might be my bedtime dose of T3 but I disagreed with him on that. Since I have had so much trouble with my testosterone he suggested that I might try Testosterone injections every two weeks. Any feedback on this?? I've tried EVERYTHING for the testosterone but the injections and I'm so tired of getting the pellets implanted...it's painful and then doesn't work either.

I think blood testing is better for sex hormones. And if you are using ANY topical or sublingual it is the only way it is accurate.-- http://nthadrenalsw eb.org/http://health. groups.yahoo. com/group/ NaturalThyroidHo rmonesADRENALS/http://faqhelp. webs.com/http://health. groups.yahoo. com/group/ RT3_T3/http://www.thyroid- rt3.com/http://groups. yahoo.com/ group/HypoPets/http://www.stopthet hyroidmadness. com/

This doc sounds like he might be a dream! Any chance you might share his name/location?

Hey Val,I went to a new Dr. yesterday, mostly for weight loss help but found out once I was there that he also specializes in anti-aging, thyroid and hormones. He believes in dosing the thyroid by symptoms and was totally ok that I was on Cytomel only. He also seemed to know quite a bit about the adrenals, believed in treating with HC and asked questions/reviewed cortisol results to confirm that mine were almost healed. I felt like I had happened upon a goldmine! A God-send! I was very happy for these added benefits. Anyway, my question.... With my current Doc I have always had my sex hormones evaluated by saliva and this Doc I saw yesterday likes to test sex hormones by blood. Blood testing would also save me a ton of money as well. What is your opinion on this?? I know that you are always up on the latest. He said that he really had much more faith in blood testing for the hormones. He also said that the saliva results could be variable

and that I might not be getting the absolute full benefit of my hormones if my dosages were not correctly evaluated. I certainly want the full benefit of the hormones along with my thyroid for proper dosage in ALL areas. I would really value your comments and depending upon your opinion I might just consider totally switching over to this Dr. Thanks in advance,

Hi ,

I just wanted to tell you that I have a friend that receives testosterone

injections from her doctor. They are mixed with stanozolol (a form of test. that

body builders use and doesn't convert into estrogen) Testosterone cypionate and

also has B12. She takes shots every week. She says that she feels a lot better

overall, more energy, great libido. However she did gain weight - not a lot &

she does like to binge (not purge!) So I'm not clear on the weight gain, but

don't imagine that it would be any different than pellets. Pati

disagreed with him on that.    Since I have had so much trouble with my

testosterone he suggested that I might try Testosterone injections every two

weeks.  Any feedback on this??  I've tried EVERYTHING for the testosterone but

the injections and I'm so tired of getting the pellets implanted...it's painful

and then doesn't work either.

Hi Pati,

Thanks for that information. As you read I have tried everything. I feel great on T3 only and just wish I could get the hormones a little more in line, especially the Testosterone. Could use a little more energy and libido would be great. My current Doc is telling me that my problem with the testo is the T3, but the Dr. yesterday did comment that my testo might be converting to estrogen and that's why he wanted to do blood levels of the hormones instead of the saliva. With any form of testo supplementation I have tried I tend to have a very high testosterone level with blood and saliva but the energy and libido are just not there. If I could ever find the right testo treatment I think I would feel sooo much better. If I decide to try these injections would your friend mind if I emailed her with some questions prior?? You can email me

private if she is alright with that. Also who and where her present Dr. is located, privately as well of course. I'm just not sure what ingredients are in the T injections that my Dr. is speaking of but I certainly could find out.

Thanks again,

cinkourk@...

Thanks El! It is good to know that there are woman out there taking these injections that he spoke of and maybe this is what I need. And yes the pellets are very expensive and painful, especially when I get nothing from them. Also with the progesterone, I think getting tested with blood will maybe give us a more legitimate answer to my true levels.

Is sex hormone saliva testing useless Val? It would cost me much more do to sex hormone testing by blood which I don't really have :( I don't take any supplements for sex hormones right now.

He also said that the saliva results could be variable and

that I might not be getting the absolute full benefit of my hormones if my dosages were not correctly evaluated. I certainly want the full benefit of the hormones along with my thyroid for proper dosage in ALL areas. I would really value your comments and depending upon your opinion I might just consider totally switching over to this Dr. Thanks in advance,
