Guest guest
TSH 10.3 uIU/mL .45-4.5 THIS says you may tolerate some T3. When in a totally intolwerant state the TSH will be VERY supressed. Everyone is differnt in where their body wil tolerate T4 wiht their low iron but wiht TSH this high I would certianly be trying some T3., > Reverse T3 243 pg/mL 90-350 > Ferritin, Serum 44 ng/mL 13-150 > Triiodothyronine, free serum 3.1 pg/mL 2-4.4 > Thyroxine (t4) 1.12 ng/dL .82-1.77 > > Cortisol - am 15 ug/dL range 6.2-19.4 Though this is low, we really need a saliva cortils test to even guess what kinid of treatment oyu would need for it. -- http://nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/
Guest guest
Have you tried posting to the main adrenal group? NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS I have never taken Isocort so can't really advise. T3 I started with 6.25mcg 3x a day and slowly increased to 18.75mcg 4x a day <every 4 hours from waking> for a total of 75mcg. For isocort/cortef dosing I would definitely talk to the adrenal group. I am not experienced enough to advise. Any recommendations for the adrenals? I have isocort but not sure when/how much to take or do you think I need something stronger like cortef? Thanks for your advice.>> Well your TSH says you are horribly hypo thyroid. That would make you tired. You probably need to start something for your thyroid. My ferritin is only 20 and I am tolerating T3 ok at this point.> Your cortisol is low early in the day. That can cause fatigue and weight loss. I had pretty significant weight loss as my cortisol got worse. > > Kitty> > > > > ____________ _________ _________ __> From: lbb12312 <lisa_boone@ ....>> To: RT3_T3yahoogroups (DOT) com> Sent: Tue, April 27, 2010 3:50:24 PM> Subject: Test results- super tired> > Â > I just got more recent lab results and wanted to see what your thoughts were on this. The past week I've been feeling so extremely tired and I'm still losing weight rather quickly. > > TSH 10.3 uIU/mL .45-4.5> Reverse T3 243 pg/mL 90-350> Ferritin, Serum 44 ng/mL 13-150> Triiodothyronine, free serum 3.1 pg/mL 2-4.4> Thyroxine (t4) 1.12 ng/dL .82-1.77> > Cortisol - am 15 ug/dL range 6.2-19.4> > Over the past two months I had stopped t4 because I have reverse t3. I wasn't taking any t3 yet because my ferritin is low. I have gotten my ferritin up a bit (it went from 18 to 44). I'm wondering what I might need to be doing now, since I'm feeling so tired and wondering what might be going on. I had started taking isocort and then the doctor told me to stop taking it because I might be allergic to it and the desensitization shots were needed. > > My previous adrenal test back in December was the following:> morning 5.3 morning optimal range 7-10> Midday 2.8 midday optimal range 3-6> Evening 2.6 evening optimal range 2-4> Night 2.6 night optimal range <1.5> > Thanks so much for your help.>
