Guest guest
It has been two weeks now since I started supplementing with 1200 of potassium and half teaspoon salt with water two times a day. These were my lab results before starting supplementation: Sodium: 138.0 mEq/L (135-145) Potassium 3.96 mEq/L (3.5-5) I guess it would be about time to test again, however I had an stomach upset last week and I was vomiting and having diarrhea, besides not eating and not supplementing properly. Therefore I wonder if it won't be better to wait a bit longer, perhaps one more week? Also I have swollen a bit, it feels as if I have more cellulitis and the legs feel heavier… I suspect this is water retention. Is this O.K or it indicates something is not quite right with the doses of salt/potassium I'm taking? Thanks,
Guest guest
You might try iodoral, or order Potasium/iodide by Source Naturals - Table salt is not (to my understanding) the way to go, They do talk about celtic and sea salt though. (I order ioderal through Amazon) There is a lot of information about this on the cancer sites and on CURE ZONE.com as they think iodine/sodium is helpful in that area. I am changing course thought now that I have proper blood work and have low Iron and Hight RT3 Two weeks supplementing salt/potassium It has been two weeks now since I started supplementing with 1200 of potassium and half teaspoon salt with water two times a day. These were my lab results before starting supplementation:Sodium: 138.0 mEq/L (135-145)Potassium 3.96 mEq/L (3.5-5)I guess it would be about time to test again, however I had an stomach upset last week and I was vomiting and having diarrhea, besides not eating and not supplementing properly. Guest guest
No, as far I understand, sodium and potassium are low because of adrenal problems. There is quite a bit of controversy about taking iodine (I have hashis), so I am not supplementing iodine. > > > > You might try iodoral, or order Potasium/iodide by Source Naturals - Table salt is not (to my understanding) the way to go, They do talk about celtic and sea salt though.
