Guest guest
> Anyway, I got my Cynomel in the mail. Do you think the swelling is from the HC or because I am ready for the T3? What are your daily average temperatures doing? are you charting them? The general advice is to adjust HC dose until temperatures stabilise and then increase T3. >I have a ratio of 18.2, so not terrible, but still need the T3. Should I start the T3 or wait a little longer on the HC? And if I do start, how much should I start out with? I have 25 mg tablets. I am also going to get my iron re-tested tomorrow, just in case It was 71 in December and hope that it's still up there. Should I be trying to increase it to the upper range (90)? Guest guest
Thank you Val. I did fine the first two weeks on the HC and then after that I started getting more HypoT symptoms, retaining fluid/weight around the belly, thighs rub now when I walk, burning and itchy skin. I will add in the T3 now. Thank you for your response! Terri From: Sent: Tuesday, March 23, 2010 6:49 AM To: RT3_T3 Subject: Re: Should I start T3 yet? Guest guest
Thank you for that link Nick. It was very helpful. My daily temps are 98 to 98.2 and I am not on any thyroid support yet. I see my PCP tonight so I will have him order a new ferritin/iron panel just to make sure my levels are still in the range 70-90 (they were 71 in December) and retest my thyroid so I have a beginning base instead of my levels from December. I will get those tested in the morning and then start T3. Thanks again Nick! Terri From: Nick Foot Sent: Tuesday, March 23, 2010 3:39 AM To: RT3_T3 Subject: Re: Should I start T3 yet? Guest guest
Hi Nick, This started minimally after the HC and then it got worse this week. I have had them tested before and if my memory serves me right, my level was almost 700. I have been supplementing since the test with 1000mg a day. Will have my doc re-test it. Thanks.
