It will take longer but you should get there in the end. The best way to do what you are describing will be to stop some of your T4, wait a few days, and then add some T3 and keep doing this a little at a time. Something like stop 25 of T4, wait a few days till your pulse and basal temperature change, and add 5 of T3, wait a few more days and add another 5. When you are stable again then drop another 25 of T4 and wait a few more days before adding some T3. Don't start the T3 the day you stop the T4, you won't need it that day.
