Guest guest
Hi Gang! Geoff Crenshaw here. > Subject: Re: off topic/boils There is a very old-time way of handling these, provided they are on the body below the neck, and pain-free --- soak (boil submerged) for a long period of time in a tub of water as hot as you can stand it until the boil opens and expresses the core of it's own accord or with slight manipulation after it has opened. After this is accomplished and the core has been evacuated, drain the water and wash with soap, scrubbing thoroughly, and clean/disinfect the tub. I know there is a " better " way but can't think of it off-hand. From my routine way of doing things it is no doubt homeopathic - but this soak in hot water is very, very old and works quite well (notwithstanding any potentialities from disbursement of the foreign agent into the water). Guest guest
>1. Fiber. This is the biggie. The more fiber, the less digestible a food is, and the lower on the glycemic index. We take this to mean that fiber is good, but I don't think so. Someone, just today, told me that fiber is necessary to cleanse the colon. I told her that what is important is enough elimination and I have found that this occurs often with enough enzymes even though I am not eating as much fiber now. I have been thinking about this and wanted opinions from this list. Thank you for bringing this up. Joy

Well, I certainly got the " heartbeat " problem in a big way after my first operation - it took over a month to settle down and a good three months to go away completely. But then I had no pain or other problems, just the racket. Having had the same problem innumerable times before surgery, I just put up with it and got on with things. Of course, that's very easy to do when you've got no pain or infection - I am invariably straight round to the doctor's surgery if I get the slightest hint of discharge or pain from either ear ! Guest guest
Maybe the pick up device that is available would work. It has a grip on the end of it that you can open and close from the handle. It's about three ft. long. Jim
Guest guest
Hi , We take between 1 and 2 teaspoons a day, as a "maintanance" dose. For those times when there is a sinus flair up, or an infection of some sort, we do as many as 4 an hour for a few hours. <dianamagic2000@...> wrote: i made the super tonic--finally! can someone tell me the amount to take daily in tsp. or tblsp? i do not understand the measurements given in the file. or is there a chart that will help w/measurements? thanks, diana__________________________________________________
Guest guest
I need some help guys. I have a ruptured disc & had 1 Epidural. That one worked for about 11/2 months. Then all of a sudden I was in way more pain that before it. I went & got another one...nothing happened. I was in God awful pain. When I got into the car after the second one I had like a bubble by the injection site, I leaned back & it went away. That's the one that I got no relief from. Called the Dr. & he said come in for another. I went this morning & got it, I "still' am having terrible pain. My right leg & hip area killing me. What I want to know is....How long should it take for some relief to start happening? I was literally crying this time by the time I got to the office. Has anyone had an epidural & no help? I kept asking the Dr. if there was something else we could try & he wouldn't answer me. I'm getting scared, don't know what to do. Cant go on like this. I'm not a sissy, I had 2 babies, breach, so I can take pain, but this is just awful. thanks guys, Shari
Guest guest
hi Shari yes its possible that they won;t help. Dr's usually try them before they move on to something else but there are many people that they don;t help. Mine didn't help even the first time so they decided not to give me any more. What I would suggest you do is do you have a pain management dr?? If not get one asap, they can try other things and meds that may help you with your pain. I was at my wits end in pain before I went to see my pm dr. And it took them awhile to find what worked best for me but they finally did find somethings that helped me most of the time. Also I had a stimulator put in for sciatic pain control which helps me some too. I hope you can find some relief soon I know you must be suffering terribly I am so sorry. Best wishes and see a pm dr asap. take care. Sharon Group Owner > > I need some help guys. I have a ruptured disc & had 1 Epidural. That one > worked for about 11/2 months. Guest guest
The doctor that gave me the epidural, that didnt work either time, was also the doctor that did my discotemy/lamenectomy and the only reason i can think of for him not to mention this to you would be because your young for surgery. dont know if thats true, i was 30 and he told me that. those epidurals did nothing for me. good luck i know it hurts. rob >From: CURTSY8@... >Reply-neck pain >neck pain >Subject: Re: Digest Number 597 >Date: Mon, 23 Jan 2006 19:46:37 EST > >I need some help guys.
