3/15/ 2010

dose: 75 mcg t3

tsh .76 (.40 - 4.50)

ft4 .5 (.8 - 1.8)

ft3 247 (230 - 420)

4/15/2010

dose: 95 mcg t3

tsh .06

ft4 .5 (.8 - 1.8)

ft3 483 (230-420)

potassium 4.1 (3.5 - 5.3)

sodium (141 (135 - 146)

ferritin 71 (10 - 232)

I had headaches, brain fog and no energy on the 75 mcg.

I had gone up to 105, but was feeling shaky and getting severe panic

attacks, loose stools, and heart pounding all day. Went down to 95, feel good

physically (hypo symptoms GONE), but still panic attacks and some heart pounding

, so tested. My pulse did not go high on the higher dose, but my labs show ft3

has gone up QUITE a bit compared to last dose.

I was only weaned down to 95 t3 3 days before the test but the panic was so

severe (as in having to go to a shrink...) that I couldn't wait and did the test

to see what was going on. I went down to 90 t3 and some improvement but still

bad anx/etc., so went down to 85 today per the doc and the fact I still feel

anx/etc.

*****Is it odd that my ft3 would be so much higher with just 20 mcg t3

more??****

I suspect my rt3 cleared and would account for how I feel and even suddenly

needing less t3, but why were my labs so low when I was on 75 t3? Was it all

rushing into the cells b/c I was so low in t3 and now I've got enough built up

it's showing up in the blood? Does that even make any sense??

Thanks,

Kathleen
