Guest guest
I have been a member for months but this is my first post. I am female, 59, Hashi's, gluten fee diet. I am on 35 mg. cortisone(saliva test stage 7) since Aug 09. Temps have been stable at 98.4-98.6. I WAS on 90 mg. Erfa......3 days ago I changed to T3( Cynomel). 25mg. split dose Labs. 3/8/10 TSH <0.015 L 0.500-4.7 FT3 3.72 2.77-5.27 pg/ml FT4 0.86 0.78-2.19 ng/dl RT3 24 11-32 ng/dl TPO 488 (down from over 1000 using LDN) I've never been able to lower them with Erfa alone.) Ferritin 111 10-264 ng/l Iron 134 49-181 ug/dl IBC 313 265-497 ug/dl Transf. Sat 42.8 20.0-50.0% Sodium 141 137-145 Potassium 3.9 3.6-5.0 Estradiol 12.23 5.37-38.4 (post meno) Free Testosterone 0.39 L 0.50-2.0 Progesterone 0.4 so low there was no range listed SHBG 172 H 17-78 nmo/l I have not been able to raise Erfa above 90 mg. EVER (5 years since diagnosis) The RT3 ratio has never been above 20. The ratio for these labs is 15.5? Dr. has prescribed BHRT: Biest 1.25 Prog. 75mg Test. 1 mg. 2x1 day Is it correct that I should raise T3 in a couple of days? How would you dose me? Will the T3 only help with Hashi's? Does the sex hormone script look correct to you? Any insight will be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much. K
