Guest guest
Subject: Thoughts on my symptoms....To: RT3_T3 Date: Thursday, April 22, 2010, 10:57 AM I was diagnosed with Hashi's 15 years ago and finally put on the "old" Armour 3 years ago. I felt better but not 100%. I never had the distinct opportunity to try the new Armour because my endo said that people were having problems with it so he put me on NT. That didn't work. Then I got my family practicioner to let me try Erfa and compounded. NONE of these worked. I feel worse than I have ever felt before. I've gained 15 pounds in the past 6 months, which was right about the same time that I started NT. So here are my symptoms, tell me what you think....Menstrual cycle-When I was on the Old Armour, I would have 2 periods a month! Then last spring I went back to one. Then it's just been one since until now!! I was supposed to start on the 28th but I started on the 19th! UGH!Less staminaLess energy Long recovery period after any activity Arms feeling like dead weights after activity Chronic Low Grade Depression Often feeling cold Cold hands and feet High or rising cholesterol Bizarre and Debilitating reaction to exercise Constipation Dry Hair Hair Loss No hair growth, breaks faster than it grows Dry cracking skin Nodding off easilyDifficulty falling asleep and staying asleep. I have found that in the past 7 months that I have to take some form of sleep aid to fall asleep at night.Air Hunger (feeling like you can't get enough air) Lung capacity is small Inability to concentrate or read long periods of time Forgetfulness Foggy thinking Inability to lose weight Always gaining weight Inability to function in a relationship with anyone NO sex drive Moody periods PMS Excruciating pain during period Nausea Swelling/edema/ puffiness Aching bones/muscles Bumps on legs on upper thighs Acne on face and in hair. Yes, I said hair! LOLBreakout on chest and arms Exhaustion in every dimension–physical, mental, spiritual, emotional Inability to stand on feet for long periods Complete lack of motivation Slowing to a snail's pace when walking up slight grade Extremely crabby, irritable, intolerant of others Handwriting nearly illegible Internal itching of ears Broken/peeling fingernails Dry skin or snake skin Major anxiety/worry Ringing in ears Joint pain Low body temperature Tightness in throat; sore throat Swollen lymph glands Allergies (which can also be a result of low cortisol–common with hypothyroid patients) This is the FIRST year in a LONG time that I've been extremely congested in the chest and sinuses first thing in the morning.Headaches and Migraines irritable bowel syndrome Extreme hunger, especially at nighttimeFyrbocistic Breasts - until last fall, my breasts were not fibrous since I started the correct medicine. I actually had lost some of them! LOL But now, they've enlarged, became fibrous again, and really tender ALL of the time.
